Welcome to FoMaKo (hereinafter referred to as "we", "our", or "the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, as well as your related rights.

1. Information Collection
1.1 Types of Information We Collect
FoMaKo is a local PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera control application that focuses on controlling camera devices through ONVIF and VISCA protocols. To provide core functionality, we may collect the following information:
- Device Information: IP addresses, port numbers, and connection credentials (username and password) of camera devices you add
- Network Information: Local network interface information, Wi-Fi network information (used only for device discovery)
- Usage Data: Application usage preferences, device configurations, preset position information
- Technical Information: Device model, operating system version, application version (used only for troubleshooting)
1.2 Methods of Information Collection
- Actively Provided: Information you actively input when adding and configuring camera devices
- Automatically Collected: Local network and device information automatically obtained during application operation
- Local Storage: All data is stored in your device's local database
Important Notice: FoMaKo is a completely locally-operated application. We do not upload any of your personal information, camera credentials, or device configurations to remote servers. All data is stored locally on your device.
2. Information Use
The information we collect is used only for the following purposes:
- Device Control: Establish connections with PTZ cameras and execute pan-tilt control, preset position recall, and other operations
- Device Discovery: Discover camera devices supporting ONVIF protocol on the local network
- Video Preview: Obtain and display live video streams from cameras
- Data Synchronization: Save your device configurations and preference settings locally
- Feature Improvement: Analyze application usage to improve user experience (conducted locally only)
3. Information Storage and Security
3.1 Storage Location
All data is stored using SQLite database in your device's local storage, including:
- Camera device list and configuration information
- Connection credentials (stored with encryption)
- Preset positions and user preference settings
3.2 Security Measures
We implement the following security measures to protect your information:
- Local Encryption: Sensitive information (such as passwords) is encrypted when stored locally
- Secure Communication: Communication with camera devices supports HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Permission Control: The application requests only necessary system permissions (network access, local network discovery)
- No Data Transfer: We do not transmit your personal data to any third-party servers
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third parties.
Since FoMaKo operates completely locally without cloud services or backend servers, your data is not transmitted to us or any third parties, except in the following circumstances:
- Legal Requirements: When required by laws, regulations, or judicial proceedings
- User Authorization: With your explicit consent
- Device Communication: The application communicates directly with your configured camera devices (this is necessary for core functionality)
5. Permission Explanation
FoMaKo requests the following system permissions to provide core functionality:
- Network Access Permission: Used to connect to and control camera devices
- Local Network Access (iOS): Used to discover ONVIF devices on the local network
- Storage Permission: Used to save device configurations in the local database
We do not request unnecessary permissions. All permissions are used to provide core functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
FoMaKo uses the following open-source libraries and frameworks, but these libraries do not collect or transmit your personal data:
- Flutter: Cross-platform application development framework
- sqflite: Local database storage
- media_kit: Video playback functionality
- dart:io: Network communication library
All these libraries operate locally and do not involve data uploads or remote services.
7. Children's Privacy Protection
FoMaKo is primarily intended for professional and enterprise users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Access: You can view all device information you have stored in the application at any time
- Right to Correction: You can edit or update device configuration information at any time
- Right to Deletion: You can delete individual devices or clear all data
- Right to Export: You can export device configuration information (if supported)
- Right to Uninstall: Uninstalling the application will delete all locally stored data
9. Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally, data retention is completely under your control:
- Data will remain on your device until you actively delete it or uninstall the application
- After uninstalling the application, all local data will be deleted (depending on operating system behavior)
- We do not retain your data on any remote servers
10. International Data Transfer
Since FoMaKo operates completely locally, there is no international data transfer involved. Your data always remains on your device.
11. Privacy Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect service changes or legal requirements. For significant changes, we will notify you through the following methods:
- Publishing update notices within the application
- Updating the "Last Updated" date on this page
- Informing through app store update descriptions
Continued use of the application indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
FoMaKo does not use cookies, web beacons, or other tracking technologies. We do not track your online activities or collect behavioral data.
13. Data Breach Notification
Although all data is stored locally, if we discover any application vulnerabilities that may affect your data security, we will promptly fix them through application updates and notify users when necessary.
15. Applicable Law
The interpretation, validity, and dispute resolution of this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the application developer is located. If any dispute arises regarding the content or implementation of this Privacy Policy, the parties shall resolve it through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit with a competent court in the developer's jurisdiction.
